Absa my father's money!!!

On Thursday 22 Nov my dad received an sms that ABSA withdrew R10, 000 from his account. When he phoned the next day, he found out that it was for my brother's personal loan. My brother died more than 2 years ago. Absa came with all sorts of stories. First they promised to refund the money, then they promised an overdraft of R10, 000 until they could resolve the matter. Now they refuse to refund the money, because they claim that because my dad didn't close the joint account after my brother's death, it was. Even though he handed my brother's death certificate to the bank...???
