Paying for a deceased and no payout

I have 2 complains.

1. 6607672442 : I had insured my brother and on his passing went to absa with his death certificate and I was told that there was no beneficiary and can't get money. I asked for those to be cancelled. The person who helped me then sent an email for the cancellation. All this I did on the 8th of August 2013. Come month end of Aug the money was deducted. I went back and a call was made to the cancellation department by an absa employee and was told that the email was sent to the wrong address. We sent another email to the "right" address. This month again there was a deduction on my account.

Why am I still suppose to pay for insurance when the person its for passed away and I didn't get any money out of it? I paid this insurance since 2002 Feb

2. 6607672442: due to the above incident I want to cancel this insurance as well but same thing happened. I have had this policy since August 2007. Was told that this is an issurance if my sister dies due to an accident.
