No policy but have to pay

I spoke with a person named Dale for house content insurance and took out a policy but after i received my contract i realised what the high premium doesnt not cover. I cancelled it Immediately and got an email stating its fine and cancelled BUT they took R173.00 from my account in anyway. I phoned this afternoon quite a few times but no one can help me to explain WHY i'm paying them for NOTHING. I want the money back in my account TOMORROW!!!
