First For Women Insurance
Value Added Insurance portion not cancelled

Business & Finance

In April 2012 I cancelled my insurance policy at First For Woman. However, they kept deducting R57 per month from my bank account for a Value Added Insurance portion, which was for dents and scratches on my vehicle. The reason why I never nolticed these deductions, was because it went through under the name TELESURE on my bank statement. As from 30 September 2013 it went through under the name VAPINSFFW. The first time I realised that I had been paying for a cancelled policy was when I received a message from First For Women that the installment was going to be increased. When I checked through my bank statements, I realised with a shock that I had been paying R57 a month from May 2012. I immediately called First For Women to bring this error under their attention and was told that someone would contact within seven working days - which would have been not later than 5 November. Nobody has contacted me yet. I have been paying R57 pm for 19 months, which totals R1083. I have noticed on Hellopeter that other clients have had the same bad experience. I need someone to cancel this policy completely and to repay the full amount which was deducted from my account in error.
