I have a personal loan with standard bank. For 3 months now I have been receiving harassing phone calls and sms's stating that my debit orders have returned unpaid and that my account is now overdue. I have the consultant check on the debit order dates and verify that I am in fact up to date with my account. The first time this happened the consultant explained to me that he would notify the admin department of this mistake and changed my debit order dates, in order to rectify the problem. However, the problem has not been resolved. Now, I am having to deal with standard bank consultants calling me 2-3 times a week, my precious time, wasted, explaining their mistakes. The last consultant I have spoken to explained to me that they have no way of contacting the admin department directly. I find this unacceptable!! 3 months is way too long!! Bad customer service!
