Querying An Already Paid Account

Aren't companies supposed to chase up payments from customers who aren't paying? So why, just after 8am today, did I receive a call, demanding whether I could afford my monthly instalment & when I'd get around to making that payment??? This was followed by total disbelief (she said she would be keeping an eye on their account to see whether or not my payment would reflect!) when I informed her that the instalment had already been made - on SATURDAY, 26 January 2013. Not bad considering firstly, that I get paid on the 25th of every month AND secondly, because their payment due date is between the 2nd & 4th of the following month!!! I couldn't say for sure what January's payment due date is, or any other month for that matter, because in the 1 year I've had the Incredible Connection Account, I've NEVER received my account before the payment due date! I've always paid early & more than the total due, but that doesn't seem enough for Maravedi's Accounts Department! The call was ended with her telling me to 'Keep on paying your account! ' Seriously?
