On 2013/09/21 My husband Met with an accident.wen I arrived at the scene my husband was unconscious. The police said the car had to be towed as it was obstructing traffic. I was not aware of the procedure was Frantic and requested for it to be towed to a relatives yard in Umhlanga, only to find out car never reached the agreed destination which I have an Invoice for as proof. Car was taken to East Coast panel beaters where they are charging R600 per day and an initial fee of R4600.When I contacted Outsurance to log a claim, spoke to Jeraad who said it has been rejected due to premium not paid. After being a loyal customer for years and not claiming once. Explained reason as my husband had been hospitalized. He made me speak to supervisor Simphiwe, who was rude, arrogant and interigated me on the call. A few days later received an email stating acc will be debited and replied that they are, rec a call from a senior claims advisor who said he would help. load of as he said as per notes on system I refused to send bank statements. Asked him to listen to recordings as it was .im disgusted with the service. They are never on ur side and advertise falsley.
