Broken Promises no Follow Up

On Tuesday the 8th of October I received a phone call from RCS offering a loan. After a discussion with the agent, I asked to be called back on 10 October in order to either proceed or decline the offer. The agent called as promised and I accepted the offer. I was rushed into completing the application before 1pm so the loan amount could be transferred that evening. To do this, I had to cancel a meeting. The next day the loan amount was not transferred as promised. I called RCS to follow up. The agent indicated that on her system the transfer was scheduled to take place the evening of 11 October. The next day I checked my account, still no transfer. I called RCS again, asked to speak to a Supervisor. Apparently all the Supervisors were late and not at work yet. I called back a few times, no Supervisors available. The agent promised that the problem was escalated and I would receive a call. To date this has not happened. What this means is that I have lost out on a special offer for new tyres which I specifically arranged to be fitted on 12 October. I have lost R1000. Excellent service delivery. Is this acceptable for a company like this? How will this be resolved to my benefit?
