Why must I go to an Absa branch?

I have just received a call from someone saying he is from Absa regarding my credit card.
He wanted to know how I get my statement? And also my residential address. When I refused to give him my address, he said I must go into any Absa branch to find out about my credit card. He phoned me, so why must I go into the branch. For what reason? It doesn't make sense. My card has been paid.

This isn't the first time this has happened. I refuse to divulge any personal info over the phone to ANYONE.
How do I know he is legit? If I phoned in, I would not have a problem!!

Absa, please refrain from calling me after normal working hours, with this type of nonsense. I do not have time for this.
