Illed for credit card i do not use

I banked with ABSA many years ago and had a credit card with them. In 2008 my credit card expired and as my other accounts had all been closed with ABSA i also informed them when they phoned me about a renewal card that i am not interested in a new card. the friendly lady on the phone informed me that there will be a yearly charge payable but once settled the account will be paid up. I did receive a statement and there were fees charged which I did settle. I HAVE NOT HAD AN ABSA CREDIT CARD FOR 5 YEARS BUT STILL I RECEIVE MONTHLY STATEMENTS CLAIMING I OWE THEM BANK CHARGES ETC. In 2011 the exact same scenario repeated itself as in 2008. Again i was phoned about a replacement credit card which I declined. then weeks later I was sent a notice that I must collect a parcel at my local. On arrival I ascertained that the parcel was indeed an ABSA credit card. Needless to say I did not take the parcel. Again I was phoned about the card and again I explained that I do not want an ABSA card. Again I received a statement reflecting a balance which I eventually paid. I sent the proof of payment together with the statement and a letter requesting the account be closed to the ABSA query centre.
