I was contacted by a representative of the Innovation group. A top up service plan was offered to me, which I accepted on the phone. After reading the documentation sent to me on email later that day, I discovered that I would be paying for the product for 64 months, while it only covers me for 24 months or 3 services.
I responded via email the next day, and requested that the product be cancelled immediately, and that nothing should be added to my account.
With shock I discovered at the end of the month that the extra money was deducted from my account. I phoned MFC to enquire. They referred me to the Innovation Group, because they sold me the product. I phoned and asked why the product was not cancelled as requested. I was told by the call center agent that a 21 day cancellation policy applies, and that extra money will be deducted on the next month also. I requested again that she cancel it immediately, also sending her proof of my previous request to cancel the day after the product was accepted. I have had no response whatsoever in over a month. It has now been the third month that money has been deducted from my account without my permission.
