Listing on ITC when agreement honoured by client

I am in the process of applying for credit at the Bank. I was told that DMC has listed me. I have been paying R300 per month as per said agreement even though I was conned into paying prescribed debt. I have no problem in paying the debt. The problem is the LISTING ON ITC which is preventing me from obtaining further credit. This is grossly unfair when I have not defaulted on even ONE payment owed to DMC. It may even be considered unscrupelous and unethical financial conduct as there was no summons or judgement for the debt and I am honouring said agreement.
