Dear Outsurance,
After submitting my claim (101722294) and being very impressed with the level of service received, so impressed that I added more cover to my policy, things have unfortunately gone badly downhill since then.
I claimed for an audio DAC that was damaged by a surge and the on the 11th of September claim was accepted and Outsurance stated that they would offer to replace the unit via P&G. The old unit was collected the 19th of September for scrapping. Since then I haven't had any feedback from Outsurance. I contacted P&G on the 25th of September and they claim they were not authorised by Outsurance to replace the unit as of yet. This was promptly fixed on the 26th of September, however, I was then sent a document of the item that they were intending to replace it with, which happened to be a video scaler and not an audio DAC! I have requested P&G to issue me with a suitable replacement unit, but have received no response thus far. I have requested that Outsurance rather refund me so I can purchase a suitable replacement. I have had no feedback from Outsurance so far. I am very disappointed in this turn of events and am considering cancelling my policy.
