Unable to repair, unable to replace

My brand new iMac was damaged during a power surge. I submitted a claim around the 10th September. The computer was sent in for repairs. A few weeks later I got it back and it was still not working 100%

Again, it was sent in for repairs. I have gotten it back and it is STILL not working. It has been almost a month and a half and the computer is still not repaired. I contacted Outsurance and the only "solution" they could offer me was to send it in a third time or to take it to my own service provider.

They cannot replace the item because it needs to go for an assessment. What exactly were they doing the first 2 times it went in then? I cannot not have my computer for another few weeks. I can't keep missing work waiting for service providers to collect/deliver the computer. Why should I now take it in to a service provider, leave it there for days to have it assessed, and then wait days/weeks again to have it repaired. This is what I pay Outsurance for

Its been almost a month and a half. Clearly Outsurance does not have the competency to have the item repaired, so it needs to be replaced
