Shocking Service for a Refund!

Early August I requested a quote, sales advisor called me, gave a quote. At the end of our call I said I am not yet accepting quote as I need to discuss it with my husband & current insurance. He said this would not be a problem. He called mid Aug for feedback. I said we had not made a decision yet & I hadnt cancelled my current insurance so the Discovery premium can not be deducted from account in Sept. The advisor suggested we postpone till 1 Oct. On 2 Sept R1720.50 was deducted from my account. Contacted sales advisor who told me that he forgot to postpone the debit order, put me thru to finance. Advisor I spoke to apologised, said money would be refunded, this was 3 Sep. I also advised him to cancel the policy.9 Sept this money was still not refunded. Contacted the sales advisor again who put me thru to finance again. Person I spoke to said that their system was down and there were delays.11 Sept still no refund. Phoned discovery, spoke to a different advisor. Policy still not cancelled, no one followed up on refund. Another advisor called later 11 Sept to cancel.13Sept still no refund. Called again, refund eft from FNB so will be in my account in 48-72hours. So more than 9 working days for refund!!
