I was involved in a car accident on the 23.07.13, initially Discovery was very helpful and organized. They said the car would take 22 days to repair, in the meantime I was provided with a courtesy hired car. After the 22 days was over I tried to contact discovery, the lady who was meant to be handling my claim didn't respond to my emails and didn't answer my calls, for a whole week. I tried the main call center and was given empty promises of following up.By the end of the week I needed to return the hired car, when I eventually got hold of Discovery they said they had failed to give the panel beaters the authorization and my car had been waiting in the yard for a month. At this point Discovery has still not provided me with regular updates and is not clear as to whether they will extend the hired car further. I am left in the difficult position of not knowing whether or not I will have transport to get to work and when my car will be ready for collection.
