Hi,

I was involved in an accident last year in December 2012 and 2 courtesy cars were hired out for me, one in Cape Town while I was on holiday and the other in Johannesburg when I returned from holiday until my car was ready. To date I have not received my full Avis refund from Discovery Insure. I initially reported this matter about 8 months ago and Discovery Insure informed me that they would take the matter up with Avis but they have since come back to me informing me that Avis is not able to track the transaction either via my ID number, cell number or by my name. Discovery has to date still not come back to me.

Secondly, I cancelled my insurance with Discovery and was informed that my premium would be returned within 5 or 6 working days. It has been over 2 weeks and my premium has still not been returned to me.

Please note that I am reported this matter to HelloPeter because of the length of time that it has taken for this matter to be resolved and I am hoping that this time it can be put to bed so that I can have the amounts payable to me paid as soon as possible.

Your speedy assistance with this issue will be highly appreciated.
