I received a sms on Saturday evening just after 8pm to let me know that there was a transaction of just over R4000 on my cheque card. I called the line to report the transaction, as I was at home and most definitely not doing any transactions with a company called TMART. I firstly had to hold on for 21 minutes, during which they could have emptied my account, but luckily didn't. There was no apology for the delay when the call was eventually answered. My details were taken and my card cancelled. They promised to phone me back within 3 work days. As of today I have not received a call. I decided to phone them to follow up. Again I had to hold on for more that 12 minutes just to be transferred and to hold on for another 12 minutes. After explaining the situation the lady said that she will reverse the transaction and should it come up in my account again they will attend to it. Could they not have done this on Saterday evening? Never the less, not the kind of service you expect from a bank of this size.
