I applied for a BEE certificate through [URL Removed] as is suggested on several government websites. This site must be run by a friend of a friend of someone in government, because I don't see why else they would recommend a company that makes money by promising a service that they never delivered.

I paid [URL Removed] R350 and over a week later had heard nothing from them. Eventually, owing to my business suffering from the wait, I went to another supplier and had my BEE certificate within a day!

[URL Removed] lists a landline number on their website but I no one has ever answered it in all the 60-odd times I attempted phoning to speak with someone.

Eventually a woman named Phili Nkabinde got back to me and blamed their internet connection on the 1 month delay of my BEE certificate, and requested my phone number. I told her I do not want anything from them except a refund as they had broken several SLAs listed on their website. They eventually agreed to refund me, but over a month later (after promised refund date) no refund has been made to my account and Phili has avoided all of my many emails to remind her about the refund.
