I was recently retrenched - so i went into Standard Bak Chats. to make the neccessary arrangements regarding my Cheque and Creditcard accounts - after waiting in a que for more than 2 hours i gave up and went to the Malvern Branch -i spoke to a consultant and explained that my cell and e-mail details have changed as i no longer am employed - i reqd. that my details be updated and filled in the necc. docs - I thought that this was sorted and left. Last Thursday i needed to conlude an important buss. transact. and i went on line to transfer money to confirm a R50000 deal (i had already been to the bank to arrange the client as a beneficiary) - i discovered that my ONE TIME PASSWORD - was not comming to my cell - i contacted the call centre only to discover that it was being sent to my old number!!! there was nothing that they could do over the phone - i lost the deal! Fuming i wen to the Bank (Malvern) on Friday and spoke to another Lady who Again had me sign more docs to confirm the change of details - she even called me to assure me dat all was now sorted out -2day Saturday - i try to transact and failed - when i called the call centre i am informed dat i must go 2 da bank again!
