I opened an account at FNB Wits branch with minimal fuss. It was very efficiently handled. I was informed then that Wits doesn't issue bank cards so when my card was ready I could collect it from Braam. I agreed and sure enough, the sms came through when my card was ready asking me to collect in Braamfontein.

I duly went to the branch and after a good wait, I was told my card had in fact been sent to Wits. Despite the inconvenience and waste of time, I did eventually got my card.

Then, unfortunately for me, I lost said card and had to order a replacement. Again, the actual process of ordering the card telephonically went smoothly and the agent was very helpful. He asked me where to send the card, and based on my previous experience, I said I would collect from Wits.

Sure enough, on 14 June I received the sms alert (not once but twice) saying my card was collection at... Wits branch. Again, I set aside time to go there today, specifically for the purpose of collecting my card. Only to be told my card is in Braam and to come back later.

I lodged a complaint the first time and fail to see why it has happened a second time.
