Ceiling damaged by bursting of Gyse

I am really not pleased by standard bank insurance service, an excess of R750 was paid to Siomunye, Our ceiling was damaged of gyser that burst, its ok the gyser is now fixed after fighting and complaining for 2 days, my corcern is that for the ceiling to be fixed we were told by one of call centre agent that we must pay ANOTHER excess of R750,
The ceiling was ok, but after the gyser bursted then it was damaged, WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY another excess, the ceiling on my sitting room looks like it is going to fall any time, i do not want it to fall on my 2 little kids (2 & 3)
