I'm staying in a complex named Blesbokpark. My Geyser burst with damage on the already ceiling - this was due to a leaking roof repair, ceiling never repaired when they repaired the roof leaks. The burst geyser add to the already damaged ceiling, We were supplied of a list of companies that we should use. I did that. He came out and told me that the full excess for ALL will be R1500 and it is payable to him on completion of the repairs, geyser and ceiling, which I did and was handed a receipt. Some time later an employee of Resprop called me and said that there is a amount of R500 outstanding for excess. I e-mailed her the receipt and she said that she will look into the matter and let me know. Never heard a word again. Now after about two months I receive a NOTICE Signed by Mr Ribbens on behalf of the Trustees, claiming R500, Admin of R50 and R35 for interest, as well as part of the Insurance Policy of which Resprop is the Broker. Explaining that there is another excessment to be paid for the ceiling repair. No one in our complex have ever been issued of a copy of This Insurance and all its policies etc. in the first place. Do we have a "boetie vir bandjies" [URL Removed] & Broker?
