As a Capitec client undergoing the rather painful but necessary process of Debt Review, I was rather astonished and frustrated by the Capitec's flagarant disregard for me as consumer.

On the one hand my reviewers (Debtbusters) have sent Capitec the required 17.1 and 17.2 form which act to notify the bank not to debit my savings account of the owed amount, but NO! They debit nonetheless.
On other hand when I dispute the debit and frequent several Capitech branches such as Eastgate and Randburg Sqaure, I am given the round around as though I have committed a crime by following due process to claim the debited amount of R850. Moreover, I have called into the their Billings Contact Centre of 0860 667 783 on several occasions whereupon nothing has been done. So much money and time has been spent to try and get this money back. First its 5 businessday the one wek then. 3 businessdays the other week.

I am fed up with such service as this only serves to prove that they are only on ones side when times are good.
