No proper repair replacement of fridge

Our fridge was damaged around January/February by lightning. Since then we have been up and down with the repairer but same was never properly repaired. It actually exploded after one of the so called repairs. Defy came out yesterday and confirmed that it is a write off. No one has phoned apologized or gave us the next step as to what they plan to do. We are truly disappointed with dial direct and their service providers.
