I purchased a sofa on groupon on 13-02-2013. Delivery was meant to take 3 - 4 weeks. Last week as I had not received anything I phoned and they told me to get hold of the courier company. (Why I had to do this at my own expense is beyond me?) Courier company said they had not received a delivery request from groupon so I had to get hold of groupon again. I sent groupon a mail, which they replied to and said the matter had been escalated to their logistics department and they would arrange delivery in 7 - 10 working days. So were aware there was a problem. I replied and asked how public holidays would affect this? I was assigned a new call center person who replied with the original reply we received copy and pasted without answering any of the questions. All she said was the date redeemed was 25-02-2013 (which is 12 days after my purchase and not 5-7 as they keep stating) and we must expect it in 3 - 4 weeks from this date. I have replied about 5 times since asking what happened to the 7 - 10 working days and each time the exact same response is simply copied and pasted back to me. Am I dealing with a person or a machine here?? I am extremely frustrated!
