Delay in refunding money

I ordered an over the door shoe rack in October for R399 and received it on 4 Nov. Ten days later I contacted them to request a collection and refund as the rack is badly designed, it does not hold 36prs of shoes, the weight of the shoes lets the rack slip off the door and I've had to pick shoes up several times when the door moves, as everything slips off between the rack and the door. It's really a very bad design.
They collected it from my house in the week before Christmas - more than a month since I requested the refund. Since then I have sent them numerous emails to ask when my refund wil be processed, and everytime I get a lame, automated reply saying that they're really sorry for the delay and they're still processing my request, and will get back to me as soon as they have an answer.
Their site specifically states that if you want a refund and return a product, it will be collected and refunded within 7 days. First they said they can't refund me, I have to request the refund from the original company that sold it. But that's impossible as the deal doesn't even show who this is. And I dealt with and paid Groupon, but I'm still waiting for my money.
