NO - REFUND and shockingly poor Customer Service

February 12, 2013 I purchased a shoe rack from Groupon and paid upfront R 219.00. On receipt of the goods (February 27, 2013) I noticed that they were damaged / shop soiled. I telephonically and via e-mail contacted Groupon SA to request a return and refund. The collection of damaged goods went off very smoothly and efficiently however to-date after at LEAST 5 phone calls to the call centre (each time being promised the refund would happen immediately) and 4 1/2 months down the line STILL NO REFUND.
I am shocked and very disappointed with the lack of service this company has ALWAYS displayed.
I NO LONGER TRUST GROUPON SA.
The Groupon SA call centre employees blame one another EACH time I called. Last call July 17, 2013 I spoke to the Call Centre Manager who also promised the payment would be processed that day - that was 5 days ago and I am STILL waiting and I have had absolutely NO FEEDBACK FROM Groupon SA.
It has probaly cost me more than the required R 219.00 if calls to the Call Centre.
