Groupon No Refund Shocking Service

We tried to return a door shoe rack as did not fit the door intended for. The advert contained no dimensions and was lacking to describe the spaces required for fitment.

On my husbands return he fitted and found the purchased rack did not go behind any of the doors. When contacting Groupon we were railroaded and receive lengthy delays between Support responses which only served to frustrate us more. Then finally we were quoted as only having logged the problem after 8 days and had 7 days to log!

We do not feel we have waived our rights under CPA (3) Goods do not meet particular purpose. In terms of s55 (3) (read with s20) of the CPA we have 10 days to return goods which do not meet a particular purpose and have quoted this to Groupon who have failed to provide an adequate answer or provide a full refund. We do not believe their fine print voids our rights under CPA.

All is well with Groupon until something goes wrong. Beware consumers, we won't be buying from them again. Now we are in the process of cancelling our R4k lighting order as a result.
