I use [Email Removed] to login to groupon. On the 28/11/2012 I tried to purchase a voucher to stay at the Southern Light Country House in Constantia-Two night stay for 2 .I used my Credit card, the system returned a technical error and suggested that i use another card. I used my Wife's Credit Card. I used a voucher received in the mail and stayed at The Country House. In February we noticed that Groupon raised the credit on both cards - same reference no. To obtain a refund from Groupon proved a nightmare. They promise refunds etc and nothing happens after repeating the call centre trip-nobody knows whats going on and says they will escalate. A while later you receive an e-mail stating case was closed, how do you rate their service! I have taken this up with my credit card co but they claim it's outside the time frame that they can reverse the entry. This is R1300 that Groupon from me. it is in their pockets as The country house confirmed that they only get paid for the one voucher used. The anonymous call centre shields Groupon from their victims. I have given up on getting my money back. I would just like to warn people dont deal with Groupon. Contact establishment directly
