GROUPON SERVICE FAILURE!

On 20 Dec 2012 I ordered a 7-piece knife set for R699 and it was never delivered to me since! It was meant to be a Christmas gift. I however understood that there must have been increased orders during that period and was patient in waiting till after Christmas. I got back to work in the 2nd week of January and still no delivery. I started querying this TO NO AVAIL. Groupon / Tammy only then let me know that they were out of stock of the item, and that they would get back to me about when to expect it. Another few weeks passed and I queried again - I was told the issue with the supplier. I then requested a Groupon credit - not even the cash back - I didn't mind if my groupon account got credited for me to use the money on something else. THEN I was told that the supplier deals with the queries or refunds themselves and I must contact them! I can't seem to get any feedback from them either. THIS IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS as I PAID MY MONEY TO GROUPON! I doubt I will get a response here either - so I've resorted to warning EVERYONE I know, colleagues, friends, family and everyone I meet about Groupons /inability to keep up with what they promise us daily to deliver! SUCH!
