Terrible service from Groupon

This is a complaint about Groupon:

I brought a voucher for a holiday for Groupon. The voucher was meant to be for self catering/B&B accommodation. When I arrived (in March 2013) it was just a room and you had to pay for breakfast (so neither self catering or B&B). I phoned Groupon from the accommodation and said I didn't want to stay there, could I find another place & get a refund. They said fine, I'd get a refund in 3 days.

It is now 3 months later. I have phoned again and again, been kept on hold, been given reference numbers, to (told the money is already in my account), and generally messed around.

I phoned again last week & was told they paid me on 25 May- wait 5 days. So I waited. No payment.

So I phoned today - today's story is that they paid me on 11 April. (They can't even agree on what BS to tell me). I asked for proof of payment- they said they can't provide this.

I'm at a loss at what to do next, and think its unlikely Groupon will ever me. I strongly advise against using them.

I will keep trying to get my money back, but after 3 months of being messed around I don't have much hope.
