I purchased a Power Bank X5200 Charger from Groupon, which cost me R299, on 10 April 2013. I EFT'd the monies within the hour. I waited the mandatory 4 weeks for delivery but decided to contact Groupon to ask what is the status of my delivery 2 days before the waiting period was over.

I was told that the monies cleared only 6 days after the deal which expired and now they are out of stock and would try and sort out the problem for me and contact me again. I was contacted again to find out that there is only one Pink Power Bank in stock, which was not the colour I wanted initially which led me to requesting a refund instead.

I sent through my banking details for the monies to be paid into and I was told that it would take approximately 3-5 working days to reflect. I have however phoned/ emailed Groupon helpdesk on numerous occasions to ask what the progress is and the helpdesk consultants state that someone from the Refunds Dept. will contact me w.r.t. the refund.

I have checked my account statements on numerous occasions to verify whether I have received my refund, which is not the case!

I am sick and tired now of emailing/ phoning to be told the exact same thing everytime!
