I have supported Groupon in the past with their meal vouchers and that has been a success, so I stupidly put my trust in them and tried some "online" shopping. On 2 occasions - after 2 months of waiting the first time and about 3 weeks the second time - I realized that I had been charged for items that I had not received. I was asked to confirm my address for shipping every time as well as all my contact details. When I contacted the Groupon Support, they notified my that the supplier was out of stock and that they would process a refund. This happened twice and neither time did anyone from Groupon contact me to tell me that the supplier is out of stock and offer me a refund. I had to contact them and yet again this just happened again for the 3rd time. On this occasion, my coupon expired because in the "fine print" it mentioned that I needed to contact the supplier to place the order with them and confirm delivery - which is odd, cause I just confirmed size, colour and daytime delivery address before I made payment on Groupon?! Surely the "fine print" is NO place to put such an important element? How much money has Groupon kept from people who have paid & not received delivery??
