Promised Refund STILL not paid

On 5 April I contacted the Groupon team to advise them that I could not use a voucher I had purchased from them as the company had closed down. After no feedback, I eventually raised a Hello Peter complaint and got an immediate response that I would be refunded.

I finally received a mail on 24 April telling me that the refund had been processed and would take 3 -5 working days to show on my account. Today is the 14th of May and guess what? No refund! I did send a mail to Groupon on 3rd May asking for feedback on the refund as it was not showing on my account but they have not bothered to respond.

Was the promise to make a refund a false claim made on Hello Peter for positive advertising?
