On the 15th of Feb I contacted Groupon and requested a refund on vouchers purchased as the supplier was overbooked & unable to honour the voucher before the expiry date. No response from Groupon so I emailed them again on the 26th of Feb. On 1 Mar Chi chi responded that the query was escalated to them and asked if they could refund to my Groupon account. I responded on 01/03 to ask if I could be refunded in cash (to my cheque account). Again, no response. Followed up with an email and Waseema let me know on 12/03 that the request was processed and I would receive notification of the refund. Till now, no notification and no refund. I followed up on 28/03 and again on 05/04, no response. I check now and the request has been deemed closed on the 5th of April. On what basis is the request closed? The request numbers for this one query are 688835 & 715574. The lack of response is frustrating but reflects the total disregard Groupon has for their clients. Lesson learnt for me I guess!
