I bought a voucher for Vogue hairdresser in March 2013. On the 16th April I called to book a hair appointment & was told that they would not honour the voucher anymore as Groupon had made a mistake on the pricing or some such excuse. On the very same day I emailed Groupon asking for a refund of my R345, due to the salon not being prepared to honour the voucher. About 2 days later I received a computer-generated response confirming that they had received my enquiry & saying they would respond soon. On the 25th April I received a mail telling me that some other salon would assist me, however, this is not what I requested or wanted. I subsequently received another mail saying they had refunded me 'Groupon credits' to the value of R345, again I did not authorise this & requested a cash refund. I have provided them with proof of my deposit, all of my bank details & have emailed them about 10 times & I keep on getting the same reply from some called Cheryl who clearly does not read my mail properly. This is the 2nd time that I have listed Groupon here before they have refunded me & their business practice is despicable & they deserve to be blacklisted for being unethical.
