I was phoned about receiving a complimentary voucher for a week holiday. I was told it would take an hour and arranged my appointments accordingly. The appointment with LVC started at 12.By 1 I told them I had to leave as I had another appointment in Meyersdal with another attorney who was travelling from Roodepoort. The manager (a white male, I never got his name) got rude to me and refused to provide me with the voucher unless I stayed another half hour (which I was not able to do as I had only made provision for the 1 hour they had specified) saying the vouchers (which are pre-printed and merely require them to fill in your name and reference number) were not ready for collection, and would not be ready for another half hour. I asked if the voucher could be posted to me, but he refused. They were not prepared to accommodate me in any way, eventhough I had attended their 1hour presentation and discussion as they required. I informed them I was going to complain to Hello Peter and the Consumer Complaints Commission and the manager informed me that I would not receive the voucher at all if I complained. I then left their premises without the voucher and was late for my next appointme
