World Vacations
Issue of invalid offe

I attended a World Vacations, by invitation, presentation in October 2012 and after the presentation was not prepared to join the scheme. To seal the deal the presenter reduced the joining fee from R14000.00 to R8000.00 and then offered a one week free accommodation in Thailand. On the strength of the offer I paid the R8000.00 joining fee. However, the presenter failed to point out that there was an age restriction for the trip which excluded me from taking up the offer. I believe the contract was transacted as there was not full disclosure of the restrictions at the time. Numerous emails have been sent to World Vacations to that effect and requests for a refund of the joining fee have been ignored. The Client Liaison Manager Ms Mariishka Hiscock has not replied to any email and cannot be contacted by phone. Subsequent to that I found that the voucher is no longer issued by the firm that originated it.
