Marketing Misrepresentation

I don't know whether to blame World Vacations, or SA Regulator - this type of marketing CANNOT be tolerated and something should be done about it!!! They appoint a call center to phone you, PE Marketing, pretending to do market research on the economic impact in your area. Then they thank you for your participation, saying that you won R6000 dining vouchers and R6000 beauty treatments. You must just go to a certain venue to pick this up. It will take 30 mins of your time to activate the vouchers and explain how it works. All, and more!! They take up 1h40 of your time presenting the worst holiday kind of club I've ever came across. You pay them R30 000 to become a member for 7 years. This entitles you access to their holiday database, then you STILL pay to go on a holiday. This is ABSURD!! Then, the gifts are the "spend more than R400 and get R100 discount" like type of vouchers - USELESS!!! The worst part is that this is EXACTLY what I expected and I asked the marketing company about it, but they denied it. I guess I went there because I so wanted to believe there are still legitimate companies out there, but unfortunately, I'm guess I'm wrong! Shame on you!!
