Flight Referrence Numbe

I have booked a return flight to East London and because I am meticulous, I called the airline to confirm my booking using the TravelStart ref number only to be told that the ref number from TravelStart is not valid with Kulula.

I then called TravelStart to get a flight ref number then, called Kulula to confirm and Yes, the booking was confirmed. I then asked Kulula to email me an e-ticket to produce at the check-in desk which they did.

My suggestion to TravelStart is, after payment has been received by TravelStart provide the customers with both TRAVELSTART REF NUMBER (for queries) and the FLIGHT REF NUMBER (for boarding/check-in) and NOT only the TravelStart ref number as the TRAVELSTART REF NUMBER is INVALID with the airlines systems.
Instruct your report developers to populate both ref numbers if possible on the email confirmation to your customers so to avoid the inconvenience at odd hours.
