Ok, so I booked a flight online, realised I booked for the wrong date, went back into my booking to change the flight, knowing I am going to have to pay extra. However, I was charged for a whole new flight (most expensive economy). I have been phoning SAA (from Australia) every single day for about a week now, and still the issue has not been resolved. Every time I phone, I get a different story from the call centre person. I have emailed multiple times, no response. In the meantime, I have spent basically the amount of the extra ticket on phone calls (NOT cheap from Australia). For me, it is now end of the month, and I am short $209, meaning I can literally not even afford food for the next 2 weeks. This I have explained multiple times as well. Such shocking service I was not expecting. All I want, is for SAA to fix what THEY up, is that really too much to ask?? Is it even worth pursuing? Or should I save my blood pressure and just make peace with loosing that money? There isn't much more I can do, phone calls and emails just get met nowhere, except leaving me fuming. Come on SAA, why so useles???
