Airline Bait and Switch?

I was busy booking a flight from JHB to Port Elizabeth on Kulula at approx 10:30 on Thursday 26 September. The KULULA system refused to accept payment when I wanted to pay - on the third try the system asked me to call the Customer Call centre. Which I did. I spoke with an agent who took my detail and then informed me that the TICKET PRICE HAS NOW GONE UP FROM R1397 TO R1550 RAND AND I HAVE TO REBOOK my ticket.

I complained and asked to speak to a Supervisor. I was put throughout to Kenny Tissong, who in turn referred me to the Terms and Conditions of Carraige 4.3.3 - which states, inter alia, that the price (of a ticket) can change AFTER THE DATE OF ISSUE... According to Kenny Tissong, the airline may do this (4.3.3) and they do not have to stick the advertised price. On my request that KULULA Customer Relations must call me back, I was told by Kenny that it is not done - I must send an e-mail.

I am a frequent user of Kulula services - but for a company to CHANGE THE PRICE WHILE YOU ARE PAYING IS ILLEGAL AND MORALLY WRONG.
