Traveling & Tourism

Last week I arrived at Lanseria with my nine tourists only to be told that the name on on one ticket did not match his ID. His name was Richard but he has used for 80 years. Having used Kulula for about 20 years and never having had this problem, I was surprised. The Kulula desk clerk insisted that I buy a new ticket at a price much higher than I paid for the original 10 tickets, 5 months previously. My unhappiness was compounded by the fact that you bring 9 customers to Kulula for two flights, you get no discount, and then you have to pay an extra R2000 for a so called error. Customer care??? I also had that feeling creep over me that a "Metro Cop" was near and was looking for a little something on the side. Say R500 and I would have kept my original ticket? Because on the return leg the Cape Town check in clerk noticed another of my tourists had a different name but she said, not really a problem and let her through. So at Lanseria I have to pay R2000 and at Cape Town, zero. How does that work? I am planning to fly 80 tourists around SA next year and I like Kulula. Maybe 80 is small fry but if they are interested a refund of R1855.00 to be exact would be good for starters.
