30/08/2013 I traveled from Windhoek to Cape Town. My experience was extremely bad. The Intercape Office (reception area) was very dirty - sweet papers, fruit skins and floor was black. When I complained I was told that the office is only serviced twice a week. The bus was due to arrive in Cape Town at 3pm - we only reached central Cape Town at 8pm as the bus accidentally knocked a pedestrian. Two passengers got off to assist- only to find out that Intercape does not keep first aid kits on board. No staff had first aid knowledge. When wanting to depart the scene the bus could not drive. They announced there will be a delay and called for a replacement bus and a mechanic. Through out the chaos all passengers has to sit and wait - toilet 'out of order' The toilet on board was not maintained or drained, along the journey and therefore was flooded. Intercape should also stop Bible pushing! Not all passengers are 'Christians" or practice the same believes.
Unprofessional...
