Bus breaks down!!!

On 14.7.2013 July my 15 year old niece caught Greyhoud bus to Newcastle. What chaos at the depot! The bus left the depot 40 mins late because of 'operational reasons'. The bus then broke down in Ladysmith. During the course of the afternoon I telephone customer services 4 times. I was told nothing useful except a mechanic was being sent from Estcourt to Ladysmith. I insisted that they revert to me with progress as we needed to know if her mother should travel from Newcastle to fetch her. I also pointed out that the bus had no working toilet and no air-conditioner. Needless to say I received no communication from Greyhound even though I am listed as the emergency contact on her ticket!! Apparently 2 passengers assisted the driver in getting the bus on the road some 2 hours later. After I had telephoned customer services for the 3rd time I was informed that the bus had left 30 minutes previously and a sms had been sent. Apparently the sms was sent to the passengers on the bus! Why would the passengers, who are now on the road again, need to be told that the bus had been fixed? What about the people waiting for these passengers?
