On 05 March 2013 I visited MTN Hillcrest and informed them of my decision to terminate my contract and port my number to vodacom. I supplied them with ALL the relevant documentation as I had already enquired about this and received reference number 97674297. They then told me to send an email with a letterhead, letter and copy of my ID stating that reference to [Email Removed] which was done immediately after leaving the shop. I stated that my contract expired on 09 March 2013 and that the number should be ported on 09 April 2013. I was billed at the end of March and have now received a new account which will be deducted at the end of April 2013 (FULL ACCOUNT - NOT PARTIAL CHARGES). I have just been BACK to MTN (waste of petrol and time!) and have been informed that the porting department has not even informed the billing department. I have now been told to make contact with the billing department which I do not believe should be for me to sort out as all relevant documentation was handed over and instructions complied with at the time. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
