I've been using a Cell C speedstick HSPA for internet access for almost 2 and a half years and have had excellent speeds up to one week ago when everything grinded to a halt. I still connect fine every time, with full signal strength and with a HSPA connection, but 80% of the websites I open time out and the ones that do load take up to a minute to load, (even [URL Removed] often requiring several refreshes because the browser times out. The Cell C speedtest, after taking several minutes to load, reports a download speed of 0.28 Mbps, a fraction of the former speeds, and very unstable.

Upon calling the Cell C call centre I get vague answers like 'we are experiencing connection problems nationally' and that I should be patient but they cannot give me any time frame in which this will be fixed, nor are they aware of any specific problem in my area. If they aren't aware of a problem in my area, how will it ever be fixed? After calling them a second time they were still not aware of a problem in my area (Kimberley) even though I told them about it before? In the meantime I am paying for a service which is currently almost unusable.
