No After Sale Service

I have been a loyal customer of MTN for many years now, however after the service I received instore yesterday i have seriously been thinking about changing to another network.

I received an upgrade lastweek (10th april 2013) and was told if i experience any problems with the phone within 7 days of receiving it I will receive a new blackberyy. I have using the phone for the past couple of days and it has been giving me problems, it dies too quickly and it just freezes. please note that I do not use my phone very much and I have not downloaded anything on to it. I took the phone back yesterday and I was told that they will have to send the phone in to the repair centre which will have a turn around time of 10- 14 days. when I explained that I am still entitled to a new phone because its still within the time frame the sales person was very rude and told me no he can not do anything to help me.

I do not appreciate this kind of service as a paying and loyal customer to MTN i think the after sales service needs to be drastically improved. And if a sales person tells you you will receive a new phone if you experience problems i expect to receive a new phone!!
