Extremely Disappointed

I received my Samsung s4 on the 25 of October from vodacom. Since having this phone it has given me continuous problems. I took my phone back to Vodacom shop at the Paddocks centre. My first issue is the 7 day warranty, I don't see why I should have to be without a phone, it's not my problem that the phone is faulty. I am paying a decent price to Vodacom on a monthly basis to be given a fully functional phone from the beginning so I don't see why I should not be given a complete new phone within those 7 days. Secondly since purchasing my phone I have used data to download apps etc and now that it has been sent away I will have to re-download those apps apon receiving my phone back. I don't see why I should bare the cost of having to use my data due to a defective phone, honestly what sort of customer service is that? (I was told this by the sales person at the vodashop) thirdly, on my contract I purchased a modem. Since having the phone and the modem it connects but it does not allow me to use apps? I am paying for a service and am highly disappointed in what I have received so far. I have 4 contacts with Vodacom and am considering changing to another network so disappointed.
